Background

The brand had been running paid ads on another ad account previously, but for unknown reason their account had been disableld. It was a month old business, but now needed to build up their advertising campaigns on a new ad account with a Facebook Pixel with no previous data on it.

The Problem

The brand wanted to get going with their advertising efforts quickly using the new ad account and start making sales fast. They needed help doing this and selected Hannes Media to help them with their Facebook Ads.

The Solution

The first step of creating a successful advertising campaign on Facebook is to create a great strategy. We’re using the software Miro to design a mind map of the funnel and strategy for our campaign. This allows us to break down the FB Ads campaign into the steps needed to cover the full customer journey.

The funnel is the following:

Top of the funnels:

Middle of the funnel:

Bottom of the funnel:

Each retargeting audience has a different timeline, eg 7 days, 14, days, 30 days etc depending on the size of the audience.  When the funnel strategy was in place we created ad copies and angles for each step of the customer journey to make it highly personalized.

When we had everything ready we set up the campaign in Business Manager. We started with a budget of $50 per day because that was the max ad spend limit FB allowed us to spend since the account was new.  It took 1 day before we got the first sale, and then things were going fast. We optimized on what was working and quickly scaled profitable ad sets, while at the same time pausing what didn’t work.

We used the approach of both promoting products and the store in general, but also specific sneaker brands they offered on their store. Different creatives worked differently with different audiences, so we realized that the potential to scale was huge!

In 22 days only we managed to generate $33,381.94 in sales with a ROAS of 11.42. We were only limited by the ad budget limit from Facebook which was starting with $50 and later on $250 per day.
